I specialise in portraiture - people, pets and places - but have an enjoyment painting and photographing absolutely anything and everything. I feel sticking solely to one subject limits myself as an artist. As in life, variety is the spice! It is however portraiture which is, alongside his wife and two beautiful children, is my love. A face, be it human, canine or equine, in my opinion, is the most fulfilling subject matter. Each one unique with it's own interesting characteristics. Having used photography for much of my artwork and taken photos for many of my friends and families weddings, I decided I should actually use the photography as part of my business and offer my services for weddings and portraits, and then there's always the option to use one of the photos for a painting afterwards!
