Artistic creative award-winning photographer based in Glasgow.
Artistic photographer who sets out to capture precious moments.Spontaneous, and perhaps a little excitable in nature, I am often drawn to abstraction of shapes in the usually mundane and ordinary. Taking great pleasure in breaking down larger, seemingly innocuous patterns: playing with perspective and proportion to achieve startling results far removed from the original view.Travel within far-reaching places of our world influences my tastes, particularly in relation to Architecture, ‘Art Nouveau’ and naturalistic elements in recording images. Recent trips to Barcelona, Alexandria, Berlin and Chicago have each, in their own way, left an indelible mark on works I produce.
Photographing people is also something I’m passionate about. Some of my environmental portrait work can currently be seen in the Tones of Voices exhibition at the Scottish Storytelling Centre in Edinburgh. I have also been commissioned to capture the spirit of this year’s BAFTA Scotland Awards as I specialise in event and wedding photography where I love nothing more than being able to catch unique moments and stories for everyone to share.Michele Dillon Photography is located in the Glasgow area of Glasgow City.
