I am a photographer. Plain and simple. I love to make images and that's the sole reason for turning my passion into a business. I try to avoid photoshop where possible as I believe there is an ever-growing gap between the 'true' photograph and a manipulated image. When necessary, Photoshop is a powerful tool but I prefer to limit what I do after taking a shot as it leads to a more honest portrayal of my subject. I feel this approach leads to more genuine images, especially for a wedding, family portraiture or personal event. I use a number of cameras but they are just a tool. My strength lies in my interpretation of a scene or event and this is illustrated in my images.

Rupert followed his passion for photography from an early age. Since then his work has covered commissions ranging from the House of Lords to the plains of South Africa. He operates internationally as a wedding photographer and received training from one of the nation's most successful independent studios.

Rupert is a freelance photographer based in Bristol who specialises in portrait photography, corporate photography and wedding photography.

He lives in the South West, and operates internationally with clients based in Nashville, New York, Greece and Antigua.

Rupert brings an original eye and a personal touch to any commission. He now operates exclusively in digital format and is skilled in image manipulation and processing, but he maintains an eye for detail and strong imagery learnt in the darkroom.
