Caroline Smyth Photography was set up in January 2013 but how did I get to that stage?
In September 2012 someone recognised my love of photography and lent me their DSLR for a week. That was when I truly found myself. Not only am I mum to two beautiful, intelligent daughters and to a rather hyperactive rescue dog called Charlie. I am a story teller, a painter of light, a woman who captures your story so that it never fades over time.
Without you I would simply be a landscape photographer, which is where I was headed until I started to photograph people. It’s a feeling that I cannot put into words & I still get it every time I take a photograph of someone. It’s a feeling that I don’t think will ever go away – a feeling I want to last until I am no longer strong enough to hold a camera in my hands.
I feel extremely privileged being a part of your story and can’t wait to meet you to capture you own special moments in time. I have a selection of wedding packages available for you. My recent work is featured in the 2nd edition of Local Brides NI 2103 magazine and the May & June issues of Local Women magazine (Ballymena & North Coast edition).
