Description
From an early age I've had a keen interest in Photography. My first camera was a Kodak 110 cassette camera. With the wilds of Loxley Valley, Sheffield as my playground. While the resolution and and print size was disappointing by today's standards, it sparked something within me that still fires to this day.
In '86, with a portfolio of 7x5 prints on bright blue card produced from said 110 Camera I continued my journey in to college learning design photography. Learning about the masters of photography. Ansel Adams, Edward weston and Henry Cartier-Bresson influenced my compositional style and Technical skill as they still do today from the patience of the Landscape photographers to the skill of the portrait photographer in capturing that 100th of a second when everything is just perfect.
With over 30 years experience in photography. I have come to understand that attention to detail is everything, from the initial composition on my trusty Nikon Df and the final processing of the raw image to the paper I use to print on. All these parts of the process are important to producing an image great enough to present to you the client.
As well as all that I pride myself in being grounded, approachable and fun to work with, while performing my duties in a professional manner.
